Description

The StaRRsed III is a fully automated ESR (Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate) analyzer, that produces a true Westergren result and conforms to the recommendations of the International Council for Standardization in Heamatology (ICSH).

StaRRsed III uses 120 precision bore Westergren tubes, which are automatically cleaned after reading of the ESR. No disposables are used!
The StaRRsed III only needs a sample volume of 1.6 ml. Waste disposal is achieved by means of a 10 l container and the entire system is protected by microbiological filters.

StaRRsed III is equipped with an Autoloader, which handles both mixing and sampling of the tubes and makes "walk away" operation possible. Standard shipment includes 2 sample discs, which can hold 30 blood collection tubes each. Sample discs are available for a wide range of commonly used brands, specials are negociable.

StaRRsed III detects hazy samples, performs a temperature correction to 18.3°C and sends results to both lab PC and printer.

A separate vacuum unit is placed under the workbench, provides the vacuum for the instrument.
